Refund Policy

At Zappyx, we aim to ensure a fair and transparent refund process. This policy outlines when refunds are applicable, how they are processed, and the timelines involved.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:

  • Order was cancelled before dispatch, as per our Cancellation Policy
  • Order was successfully returned and accepted as per our Returns Policy

Customers are advised to review the Cancellation and Returns policies to understand any applicable deductions before requesting a refund.

Refund Process

The refund process follows these steps:

  1. Returned product is received at our warehouse
  2. Inspection and quality validation is completed (typically within 2–3 business days)
  3. If the return meets policy conditions, the refund is approved
  4. Refund is initiated to the original payment method

Refund Timeline

Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days. In some cases, the overall process (including return transit and inspection) may take up to 7–10 business days.

Refund Deductions

Depending on the scenario, the following deductions may apply:

  • A 5% restocking or processing fee may be applied for cancellations or returns
  • For orders already dispatched, a higher deduction (up to 10%) may apply
  • Logistics and return shipping charges may be deducted where applicable (especially in RTO cases)

Note: Exact deductions depend on order status, payment method, and return condition.

Refund Method

  • Refunds for prepaid orders are processed to the original payment method used during checkout
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) or bank transfer orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS) to the customer’s provided account details

For security and compliance reasons, the refund method cannot be changed once initiated.

Non-Eligible Refunds

Refunds may not be approved in the following cases:

  • Returned product does not meet the conditions defined in the Returns Policy
  • Replacement has been provided instead of a refund
  • Request falls outside the eligible return or cancellation window

Important Notes

  • Refunds will not exceed the original order value paid by the customer
  • Customers will be notified once the refund is initiated
  • In case of delays beyond expected timelines, customers may need to coordinate with their bank or payment provider
  • Zappyx is not responsible for delays caused by banking systems, payment gateways, or logistics partners
